A huge congratulations to our SeaPerch Team for taking home the state championships in Waterford on Wednesday.
SeaPerch is a competition involving underwater, remote-operated vehicles. There is an obstacle course, which is a speed test, and a mission course, which is a task-based test. Our team, the Swamp Devils, beat Waterford in both the mission course, 38 to 9, and the obstacle course by over a minute. Our second team, made up of mostly underclassmen, finished third in the obstacle course.
The team will now head to the University of Maryland for the world championships on May 31st.
