Italian classes recently traveled to “Little Italy” of West Haven. They visited Durante’s Pasta shop where the owner, Angelo Durante, explained the pasta-making process and did a short demo of pasta made by hand. Students tasted his delicious stuffed shells pasta and received a sample of his pasta product. Students then continued to Cappetta’s Deli and tasted a variety of yummy pizzas made by the owner Donato Cappetta and his team.
