Senior Ismael Alvarez took home the title of Mr. Westie in the competition’s 2025 edition on April 11th. The competition raised nearly $2,000 for the senior class. A crowd of over 400 students attended.
Seven contestants took part this year : Caleb Awuah, Angel Magana, Ismael Alvarez, Kittikohm Tighe, Travis Dyer, Antoine Edmund, and Will Lopes. The contestants participated in three categories : interviews, sports or casual wear, and talent.
The show was directed by Justin Woychowski and hosted by Carmella Ruiz, Amanda Fagnani, and Natalie Gallo.
The elite dance team made an appearance to introduce the contestants with the traditional “It’s Raining Men” dance, choreographed by Carmella Ruiz.
Antoine and the Blue Devil Percussion played in a blackout.
Angel Magana did his best impression of Taylor Swift.
Ismael swooned the crowd singing to Frank Sinatra.
After a close loss last year, Will Lopes won People’s Choice after busting a move on the stage.
Kittikohm won Most Athletic.
Travis won Nicest Smile.
Caleb won Best Personality.
Nadia Martinez won Best Escort.
2004 overall Mr. Westie Levi Jordan crowned our 2025 Mr. Westie, Ismael Alvarez. He captured the bounty of 2 free prom tickets for himself and his escort, Liliana.
