Our school celebrated its athletes who are continuing their athletic careers at the college level on Tuesday. Twenty-three West Haven student-athletes — the most in our school’s history — have officially committed to college athletic programs across the country, representing a wide range of sports.
Junior Zoe Powell has been named the West Haven Athlete of the Week following an impressive performance at the recent Invitational track meet. Powell, a team captain, is a standout in girls track who qualified for two events at the state meet. She set personal bests in both Javelin and Discus.
