Senior prom is tonight, we hope you all have a great time! Anyone attending the senior prom needs their ticket and ID to check-in.
We have a lot of people to congratulate today! First a big congratulations to Ashlynn Trenchard and Tanjib Jamil for being recognized at the recent Board of Education meeting with the CABE Student Leadership Award.
Also celebrated were Bedirhan Ozmen and Kadidja Morou for their amazing work as student representatives to the Board of Education.
The National Honor Society induction was on Tuesday. The event included the traditional candle lighting ceremony representing the four pillars of the organization: Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service.
Principal Bohan and Mayor Borer delivered messages of encouragement. Current senior members were recognized and new members took the National Honor Society pledge.
The Theatre Workshop has received twenty nominations for its play, Lend Me A Tenor, and our musical, The Addams Family. You heard that right–20 nominations! Congratulations to the Theatre Workshop!
The Boys Tennis team beat Career 7 to 0 on Senior Day to qualify for the CIAC Playoffs.
The Baseball team beat NFA 4 to 2 in their regular season final. Connor Hume went the distance to improve to 6 to 1 this season on the mound. The Blue Devils will now wait to see who they draw in the CIAC Playoffs.
