First a message from Principal Bohan: The last day of regular classes is June 3rd, followed by final exams, with the last day of school being June 12th. All students should be coming to school on time and attending your classes. Let’s make the last few days good days at WHHS. Remember, your presence in school and in your classes counts and makes WHHS a better place.

The senior trip to Six Flags is today. Seniors, please report to the lobby after block one, which is 8:50 am. You will be leaving Six Flags at 5 pm and should return here at about 6:30, depending on traffic.
Congratulations to the members of the track team who competed in the SCC Championships on Tuesday. Paige Davis came in second in the long jump; Ella Morgan came in second in the 100 meter hurdles; and the girls four by one team came in second place.
Congratulations to Eduardo Alcantara for placing second in the Connecticut Institute for Community Development Spanish essay contest. The contest was to write an essay about “The Importance of Spanish Language”. Mrs. Betancur said she used this as an opportunity to assign one of the College Board’s persuasive essay assignments. Congratulations Eduardo!
