Welcome back to school! Thank you for your patience as we get the news show off the ground for this school year. Get ready for the first show of the year on MONDAY! The first meeting of the Model UN Club will be on Monday, September 15th in room D114 with Mrs. Ficaro. We will be preparing for an upcoming conference at UNH. New members are welcome!
The True Crime Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday, September 24th in room D114 with Mrs. Ficaro. If your passion is True Crime TV or True Crime Podcasts, come join the club for interesting discussions about criminal cases old and new. New members are encouraged to attend.
The first meeting for the international club will be on Monday, September 22nd in D311.
The Rostrum will have its first meeting on Monday September 15th in room F116. Come on by if you want to join our school’s news team.
Attention students: Do you want to hear about Jobs, Scholarships, College Visits, Community Service and more? If the answer is yes, you need to enter your regular e-mail address into Naviance. Stop by the Career Center with questions. It’s in H127.
The Career Center will be hosting a College and Career Fair on October 1st. It will be from 6:30 to 8 pm in the gym.
Attention fall athletes: there will be a meeting for you and your parents on Thursday, September 11th. It will be at 6:30 pm in the auditorium.
WHHS will host an Open House for parents on Thursday, September 18, 2025. This important informative event will begin at 5:30 PM. More information will follow.
Parking in the WHHS lot is a senior privilege. Seniors, if you would like a parking pass, you must complete the Senior parking form on PowerSchool and upload a copy of your driver’s license, current registration, and insurance card. You cannot park on the premises without a parking pass. Should you have any questions, email Ms. Corrado at Yvonnecorrado@whschools.org.
Students if you would like to have a locker assigned to you, please complete the locker request form on PowerSchool. If you have any questions, email Ms. Corrado at yvonnecorrado@whschools.org.

The cross country team is looking for boys and girls to join the team. If you are interested, please stop by the athletic department.
The first meeting for HOSA: the club for future health-care professionals will be on September 15th in F119. The meetings will be held every Monday. Here’s a video the news team made about the club last year.
The News Team is excited to bring back birthday shout outs. Please use this link if you want to shout someone out. For $5 we will put their picture on the screen, say your bday message, and deliver a goody bag of treats to their homeroom. The more notice you give us the better (we prefer 2-3 days).
