Dear Editor,
During this pandemic, I believe West Haven High School has been doing a wonderful job handling the shut down of the schools. The staff and administrators as well as the Board of Education have done all they can to make sure each student is able to continue learning. That is important because no matter what goes on in the world, we need our education for our future. I am thankful that all of the teachers were able to provide distance learning for us. They are very understanding and go above and beyond when it comes to helping students with assignments. It has been a learning experience for us all. I can imagine the many challenges that the school system went through, but they took it on like champs and made it work. I know it was extremely difficult to come up with a solution on how to continue to provide education to our students and how to execute it. With this being said, I want to make sure that everyone in the school system gets the credit that they deserve. On my behalf, I would like to thank them all and let them know how much I truly appreciate everything they have done for all of West Haven’s students. They took on the challenge and exceeded the expectations.
