Integrity Essay Contest – 2022
Sponsored by the WHHS Academic Integrity Committee (AIC)
WIN $25 CASH
- Students in grades 9-12 may write an essay about the importance of living a life of integrity.
- Perhaps your essay can describe a person (real or fictional from the past or present day) who demonstrated integrity. Maybe this person was a character in a story that you read or movie that you saw. Maybe this person is a member of your family. Maybe this person was a scientist, governmental leader, musician, actor, or artist. Maybe this person is someone that you created from your imagination. Maybe your essay is not about a person at all; perhaps you simply explain why living a life of integrity is important.
- Truly, ANY connection to integrity is acceptable.
- The essay will be judged on content, presentation, and grammar/spelling.
- Content: The essay should be positive and life-affirming with a universal appeal. It should clearly articulate how demonstrating integrity makes the world a better place. The essay should make readers both think and feel.
- Presentation: The essay should be clear, concise, and interesting!
- Grammar/spelling: The essay should be written properly.
The essay should be typed with 12-point font, 1.5-line spacing and a one-inch margin. Please submit to Mr. Consorte in Room C-203 by the end of the school day on Friday, February 25, 2022. The best essays will also be entered into a statewide essay contest. You can win!
