During the first few weeks of the season, the West Haven Blue Devils have looked unstoppable. A team that missed playoff football just a season ago, now stands undefeated. The Blue Devils enter their week 5 bye with a 4-0 record, and overall, no team has been a match for the Westies’ team as they have outscored opponents, 185-42. That is an average score of 46-10. West Haven is coming off of a powerful performance where they shutdown long standing rivals, the Hillhouse Academics, in a 54-0 win.

   The Blue Devils enter their bye week 4-0 and ranked inside the top five in Connecticut High School Football. Going into the Hillhouse game the Blue Devils were ranked 9th in CTHSF, they are now ranked 4th, according to MaxPreps. This move up comes after massive move-downs by top 10 teams, New Canaan -3 (10th), Killingly -3 (11th), Shelton -10 (12th).

   West Haven comes off their bye week to play an away game at Wilbur Cross on Friday, October 14th, at 6:00pm. The Westies’ have their next home game scheduled for Friday, October 21st, against Shelton.
