In March West Haven mourned the loss of an important member of our community, Coach Ed McCarthy. Later this month the community is coming together for an alumni football game to raise money for a scholarship in Coach McCarthy’s name. In today’s episode, one of his former football players has a message for you about the game.

The Red Cross club is hosting a blood drive on May 15 in an effort to address the dangerously low supply of blood in CT and other areas. If you are 16 and older, you can donate blood. Students, faculty, and staff can sign up to donate outside the cafeteria during the lunch block today.
Attention seniors athletes: please stop by the athletic office if you’re committed to playing a sport in college next year.
The annual fine arts showcase is coming up on Thursday. It will be in the lobby from 5 to 7 pm. Art created by our seniors will be on display and there will be performances by our band, chorus and theatre members. Culinary students will provide light snacks. Don’t miss this fun event!
