Congratulations to the fine arts department for putting together an amazing display of talent last Thursday. We’ll have some pictures from the event today.
Before Friday’s baseball game against North Haven, the team honored former coaches, Bob DeMayo of North Haven High School and George Hanchetti of West Haven High School, along with long-time umpire Arnie Mann. The team also took time before the game to bring attention to Morgan’s Message.
The team went on to beat North Haven four to three in 8 innings. Connor Hume pitched 7 innings with six strikeouts. Hudson Axelrod pitched a scoreless 8th inning. Jey Scanlon had a huge pinch hit double to start off the eighth inning. He scored the winning run off a single from Mike Madera.
