We begin today with a moment of silence for long-time hockey coach Michael “Vio” Violano. Coach Vio led the Notre-Dame West Haven High School co-op hockey team to four state titles. Vio was elected to the West Haven Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. He was a star in soccer, hockey and baseball when he attended our school. Our school sends its deepest condolences to Coach Vio’s family and friends.

West Haven Girls’ Swim celebrated their Senior Night with a win against the Mercy Tigers 98 to 71. Congratulations to the team and all its seniors.
