Members of Student Government Interact competed in the Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest at Lorenzo’s Restaurant on February 26th. The West Haven Rotary Club organized the event and generously awarded cash prizes to the winners. Students wrote and delivered a 5 to 7 minute original speech discussing the Rotary 4-Way Test centered upon truth, fairness, goodwill, and societal benefit. Bibi Hadi, who came in first, advanced to the regional finals in the statewide competition in Trumbull on Saturday, March 15.

Toddy is the last day to support the Girl Up club’s bracelet fundraiser. The bracelets are $2 each. They take cash and cash app. They’ll be on sale outside the cafeteria during lunch today and tomorrow. The money raised will go to the Rape Crisis Center of Milford.
The SADD Club and Morgan’s Message, along with some help from the math department, will be celebrating Pi Day today. Classes will be visiting the main lobby to participate in the celebration. Snacks and activities will be available ranging from $1 to $5.
The first meeting of the UNICEF Club will be on Thursday, March 20th in room C202 with Ms. Goodwin. This club is for anyone who is interested in helping children in need across the globe.
