The Class of 2024 will be holding a bake sale at Tuesday night’s boy basketball game. So come out and support your team and the Class of 2024. The game is at 7 and the team will be celebrating senior night.

The Girls Tennis team will have a mandatory meeting for new and returning players on Tuesday February 14th after school in F128. If you can not attend please email Mr. Barraco.

Spring sports tryouts are coming up. All athletes must have an updated physical and all athletic forms must be submitted on Power School before trying out. Contact the coach of your sport if you have any questions about tryouts.

The varsity Girls Basketball Team has an away game against Sacred Heart Academy at 7:00 pm. The JV game is at 5:15.

The Boys Hockey team has a home game today at 5:30pm against Fairfield Prep.

There will be an introductory meeting for all freshmen interested in joining their class council today. The meeting will be after school in room D-215.

The gardening club meets every Wednesday after school in room B212. For more information see Mr. Klink or Mr. Martinez.

The next meeting for the Rostrum will be today. Come on by if you’d like to join our school news team!

There will be an SAT Study Hall every Thursday for one hour after school in D214. Feel free to stop by. SAT Day is on March 22nd.

The Senior Class Council meets every Thursday in room F214. Come on by if you’d like to help plan for prom and our senior class fundraisers.

Attention seniors: It’s time to give us ideas for your prom theme. A Google Form is posted in the Yearbook/Class of 2023 Google Classroom. Please fill it out by February 17th.

The Student Government/Interact Club meets on Wednesdays after school in Room C-206…All students are encouraged to join.

The next meeting for Teens 4 Christ will be today in E209. All are welcome to attend.

The Academic Integrity Committee is sponsoring an essay contest. The prize is $50. Your essay should be about the importance of living a life of integrity. We’ll post more details next to today’s episode. The deadline is February 24th.

Attention Seniors: Friday February 17th is the last day to get your cap and gown for $40. On Monday February 22nd, the price goes up to $50. The last day to buy a cap and gown is March 17th. If you don’t have a cap and gown, you can’t be in the graduation ceremony! So see Mrs. Corrado in the main office to get your cap and gown!

The National Honor Society is selling carnations for Valentine’s Day. Students may send a carnation to someone to be delivered during homeroom on February 14th. Carnations are $2 each or three for $5. See Ms. Fanelli in D210 if you have any questions.

If you want to get involved in our school news team, make sure you sign up for Digital Media and Journalism for next year. If you’re camera shy, we have plenty of jobs behind the scenes. Stop by F116 to learn more about the program.

Get tickets to the Theatre Workshop’s performances of “Grease” by following the QR code on the screen. The performances will be on March 30th, March 31st and April 1st in our auditorium.

Attention Juniors! Stop by the Career Center if you’re interested in going to the Hartford National College Fair on Friday March 31st. There will be over 200 colleges at the fair. The cost is $5, and the deadline to sign up is February 24th.

All of our class councils are coming together to host a fun BINGO night fundraiser. There will be prizes and concessions like chips and beverages. It will be at Cielos on February 22nd at 6 pm. Tickets are $15 and will be sold at the door.
