The community is coming together on May 19 for an alumni football game to raise money for a scholarship fund in the name of former Westie football coach and teacher Ed McCarthy, who died on March 10.
Coach McCarthy led West Haven to four state football championships over his career and impacted the lives of countless student athletes.
The game, which will feature a performance by the alumni band, will be at 4:30 pm at our football field. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for everyone else.
