In sports news, we have a shout out for senior girls soccer player Jaylyn Powell. Last Tuesday the girls varsity team tied Hamden 5 to 5. The team came back from a 4 to 1 deficit in the second half, They were led by Jaylyn’s five goals, including 4 in the second half.
There will be a parent/athlete meeting for all fall sports participants on Tuesday, September 24th at 7 pm in the auditorium.
There will be a meeting Thursday, September 12 for any girls interested in trying out for the girls basketball team. It will be right after school in room H215. See Coach Mo in room H215 with any questions.
The first meeting for The Rostrum will be on Wednesday in room F116 immediately after school. If you want to join our school news team, come on by!
