Welcome to The Teacher’s Pet, the PAWesome news column about our teachers’ furry, feathered, and finned friends. For this article, I asked Mr. Post about his pet bunnies:
Q: When did you adopt your pets?
A: We adopted three bunnies 5 years ago. They have since reproduced and we have 14 bunnies!
Q: What is your favorite memory with your pets?
A: When the first litter of bunnies were born, they were all so cute and tiny.
Q: Do your pets have a favorite treat? If yes, what is it?
A: The bunnies love leafy greens, including lettuce and kale.
Q: Can your pets do tricks? If yes, please list what tricks they can do:
A: They cannot do tricks on demand, but when they are happy, they do a happy dance called a “binky.” This is where they jump in the air and spin around. Super cute.
